Downton Abbey Star Headed To Game Of Thrones Season 2

HBO confirmed to Access Hollywood the actress is set to play Ygritte, a wildling set to cross paths with Kit Haringtons Jon Snow. SPOILER: Fans of the books know Jon will travel beyond the wall in Season 2, where he meets and develops feelings for the redheaded wildling. Previously, when asked by Access Hollywood at Comic-Con 2010 in San Diego if his character would be getting a love interest in Season 2, Kit blushed. I think you might, is what Ill say, he told Access. Kit is set to spend time in Iceland filming GOT Season 2, giving the Nights Watch and those beyond-the-wall moments a cold flavor. It was cold last season, but this season were going to Iceland, Kit told Access at the time. Its going to be freezing, so thats going to be a bit of a taskits pretty grueling stuff for Jon Snow.
